McAffee installed internet not working .. please help ASAP =]

Question

The other day I installed McAffee Wireless Internet Security onto my laptop [Inspiron 1505 running on Vista] and now i cannot access my router. It original name got '_SafeABi' added to the end of it and now when i go to check the wirless networks available it does not show my original one .. now when i try to get on to the newly formed internet router thing the passphrase is different and even when i figured it out it only connects unsuccessfully ..   is there any way i can fix this problem other than rebooting the whole computer. Uninstall the program or do a system restore to a point before you installed the program.
