Mini-PCI Help

hi,
I own an Inspiron 1100 and saw the documentation saying there isnt a slot for a mini-pci card... yet there is a cover FOR a mini-pci card on the bottom of my case??? Is this true that I can't get a mini-pci card for my Inspiron 1100???  I have a PCMCIA card now but I get a very low signal and the access point is just outside the room.  Any help would be great! Thanks!

Hi,

These ran hot enough as is. I would be most reluctant to make it run hotter.

yes, they do run hot, but I think I have it cooled good enough, its 35C idle and about 45C under load. (and thats without any device such as a cooling pad with fans.)

I would still like to try to overclock it, if possible.  I have a temp gauge on it and I can tell if it gets too hot. [i.e. getting above 45C idle].  I replaced the thermal paste on the CPU also.

I know how to overclock things, too.  I have my desktop CPU P4 2GHz running at a stable 2.5GHz with an idle temp of 27C and a load temp of around 35C [with stock heatsink & fan].

Please tell me if you can overclock it.  Thanks!
