Modem Driver - Latitude C640
The WINXP Professional "device manager" in my Latitude C640 notes that the computer contains a PCI Modem with hardware id "PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_2486&SUBSYS_4C21134D&REV_02. However, the modem is inoperabale because no driver is installed.
No such modem is listed in the downloads for this machine. Can someone tell me where I might find the driver for this modem.

Hi,
The modem could be one of many brands. Have a look to see what it is. It is under the door on the bottom. A common one is the PCtel p/n OE828.
