Modem driver

I have just reformatted my hard drive and reinstalled W98 ll ED. I need to know which modem driver to use out of the many that are available in the list. I have a Dimension XPS T500MHZ Pentium lll with 512 Cache. The modem is a 3COM USRobotics V.90 PCI Telephony WinModem. Can someone help, please?

Do you happen to know the model number of the modem?  Windows Device Manager should give you that information.  From looking over the list of available downloads for your computer model and Windows 98 it looks like the European version of the drivers is the only ones that fit the description you gave.

Yes, the Modem is a US Robotics model 0637. I bought the PC in Nov. 1999.

With the model number I still wasn't able to sort out the right driver in the Dell File Library.  At Modem-Drivers.com I did find the driver specific to your modem.  Click here for that driver.  It will require a "free" sign up to download from the web site.
