modem error 633

Help any one!!

I have so called "error 633" problem in modem.

My computer is notebook insprion 1100, windows xp home edition. After I reinstall the windows xp operating system, I use the device driver CD that follow the notebook I buy. The CD can find all my hardware except my modem. But after the reboot, windows find the new hardware and reported it was a modem. So I used the driver CD and install conexant D480 v.92 myself. But when I dail to internet, it is said error 633. Any one have suggestion?
