Try going in and checking your settings-- the number that its dialing, etc.

Check your modem settings ... it may be as simple as slightly increasing the
amount time the modem waits after detecting dial tone before it dials out

Thanks for the suggestions. I will try to increase the wait time before dialing. Don't see why it won't work until I disable/enable the modem--maybe that resets the settings?
