McAfee runs on both my desktop (where I have the problem) and a laptop (where I don't have the problem). Verizon DSL supplies software with internet service. Both computers run in the same house through a router.
If this is a new problem, then something has changed with the configuration on the machine that will not allow. Check the type of attachments that are being allowed to download.
I really don't believe it is the firewall. 1) If I disable the firewall, I still cannot receive the files and 2) I cannot attach a
.wmv file to an outgoing e-mail.
