multiple os's

Question

reinstalled windows. i thought i had deleted the other windows installation but now when i turn on my computer it lets me choose between two operating systems. how can i get rid of the other one?

Note that this really has nothing to do with Networking Inspiron computers and should have been posted in the Software - Windows XP forum.  Please try to post in the proper forum in the future.  Assuming you are running Windows XP and that you did indeed do a clean install by reformatting the hard drive and then reinstalling Windows, go to Start > Run and type msconfig then click on OK.  Click on the Boot.ini tab, then click on the Check all boot paths button.  Remove any invalid boot paths.   Steve
