If you haven't tried it already, I'd suggest reinstalling the bluetooth software for your computer.  You can get it from the Downloads section of support.dell.com.

You shouldn't need to uninstall the existing bluetooth software first, but doing so would not cause any problems (and would save you some time if it turned out uninstalling the existing bluetooth software first was required).

i download the driver and setup it without uninstalling

every thing going ok but unfortunately the problem is still the same

the software work but the icon in the systray (taskbar notification area ) show the same message

it seems that it is a problem in the registry

because i saw a nother subject in the forum like my problem but the icon is that on the desktop

not in the taskbar notification area and solved from the registry

if that can be solved the same way , pls tell me how ??

thannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnks alot

Try uninstalling the software from Add & Remove Programs, reboot the computer (cancelling any "found new hardware" windows that come up), and then run the driver/software install again.  If that doesn't fix it you may need to look into a registry fix.  Unfortunately, that isn't something I can help you with for the bluetooth card as I don't have experience with it.

DELL-Larry R

i appreciate your kindness and help

i tried to do what you told me but i go to the "add or remove programm"

no icons in the name of bluetooth nor widdcom or any thing related found !!

i  think i should do the last thing you sayed "If that doesn't fix it you may need to look into a registry fix.  Unfortunately, that isn't something I can help you with for the bluetooth card as I don't have experience with it. "

i am very happy for your communication with me and kindness

thanks alot

The same issue occurred with my PC running on Windows 10 (not Dell) but I am sure you may be facing the same issue. If you are using Windows 10 then you may be facing this problem because of little bugs which were found in Windows 10. I would recommend you to check Windows 10 Taskbar Not Working solution. I hope that your problem will be solved immediately.
