My internet connection is working but Internet explorer does not work?

My internet connection is working very good. Because Firefox, Google talk, Voipcheap these programs are working normally. I could access the web pages in Firefox Mozilla browser. I am posting this new message through Firefox browser. But Internet explorer and Windows live messenger do not work. I reset the setting of Internet explorer. But it doesn't work. In MSN messenger it displays error 80072ee7 and when i run troubleshooting, there are a yellow sign in DNS and Key Ports. no signs (no ticks or no other) in IE's offline setting and Wireless. What could that be? What's the problem? Please help me to solve this problem. Thanks a lot.

You need to start by telling us which version of Windows you are running, which verison of Internet Explorer you are running, and what you mean when you say you ran troubleshooting (Which troubleshooting application are you running).

You also need to tell us whether or not you are running any third party firewalls and whether or not you have checked this firewall to make sure that it is not blocking Internet Explorer and MSN Messenger.

I am using Microsoft Windows XP Professional Version 2002 Service Pack 2. I used Internet Explorer 7 yesterday. After the problem I tried with Internet explorer 6 also. At the present time Internet Explorer 6. I ran internet explorer troubleshooting. I checked my firewall settings. There the internet explorer and MSN messenger are not blocked. In the Programs and Services (Tab - Exceptions of Windows Firewall) they are ticked. Thanks, Keerthikan

It is difficult to know what happened when you deactivated Kapersky.  Did you uninstall it or just prevent it from loading?  Have you tried using System Restore to go back to a time when everything worked?  Once you get to that state then you can try uninstalling Kapersky rather than deactivating it.

Do you have any third party firewalls, like McAfee, Norton, Zone Alarm, etc?

Thank you very much for your information. I checked in Kaspersky software, there was the problem. There the software blocks the internet service, therefore the Internet explorer and MSN did not work. Now it's Okay. Thanks you so much. As ever, Keerthikan.
