My modem is not working properly since my computer crashed, HELP ME PLEASE!
My computer crashed a couple of weeks ago. Everything seems to be ok, but I have great difficulty getting on line, and when I do I lose connection. I'm wondering if when my computer crashed it damaged my modem?? I have a US Robotics 56K modem fax. Please help me..

Hello adhooper,
Do you have modem helper installed? Take a look under all programs, i would run that first and this will give you a good indication of whether your modem has failed or not.
