I do not know if the pages need java, but I am pretty sure I have it.  Anyway, I was able to use the site before... I can't figure out what has changed.

Thanks!

I believe that site requires Macromedia Flash in order to work properly.

do you know if the pages need java or other plugins to work?

I was able to access the site before, so it seems like if it required something I don't have, I would not have been able to access it at any point.

Does MYSpace have a FAQ section?  You will probably be hard pressed to find many of the users here with MySpace experience.

there was a windows critical update relating to macromedia flash that severly messed things up for me (say a week or two ago?).  it only appeared for one of my machines and caused problems.  had to use a tool on macromedia site to uninstall the program and then reinstall it (add/remove failed as did normal reinstalls).

I am able to access all of the myspace pages using aol instead of internet explorer.  I am thinking about just reloading explorer.

Hi Rebecca,
I'm having a similar problem with IE7 and MySpace (only MY profile page) since getting my new Dell with Vista. I've tried everything from reinstalling IE7, installing the User String Utility, checking all Java is enabled, starting IE7 w/ AddOns disabled, checked all Internet Options, on and on.

I can't get MySpace to respond. I thought they might know if there's a conflict between IE7s settings and MySpace.

I've also joined Microsoft newsgroups and message boards looking for others with the same problem..."it can't just be me!".

My issue: My "About Me" and "Comments" sections end abruptly in the middle of text or graphics and dont' show the rest of the section. My "Who I'd Like To Meet" section isn't displaying at all.

I know it's not a problem with my MySpace code, because my profile looks completely fine on other PCs, including one using IE7.

If I keep banging my head against the wall, I'll soon be unconscious!
