ndiswrapper help setting up wireless
Hi,
Need some help setting up wireless 1350 mini-pci wireless lan using Ubuntu.
I did the following:
1- downloaded the windows driver from the dell website
2- unzipped it in windows and copied the files to ubuntu
3- installed ndiswrapper
4 - here is my error :root@ubuntu:~# ndiswrapper -d/home/user/ndiswrapper/driver/mcmwl5.inf
Usage: ndiswrapper OPTION
Manage ndis drivers for ndiswrapper.
-i inffile Install driver described by 'inffile'
-d devid driver Use installed 'driver' for 'devid'
-e driver Remove 'driver'
-l List installed drivers
-m Write configuration for modprobe
-hotplug (Re)Generate hotplug information
where 'devid' is either PCIID or USBID of the form XXXX:XXXX
root@ubuntu:~# ndiswrapper -d bcmwl5.inf
Usage: ndiswrapper OPTION
I have no idea how to fix the error above
where 'devid' is either PCIID or USBID of the form XXXX:XXXX
