NEED HELP on printer sharing!
My desktop pc is the new Dell Dimension XPS. I have a Toshiba CENTRINO new laptop. Both are running Windows XP. I also have the Dell TrueMobile 2300. I have everything hooked up and been surfing the internet just fine using my laptop in the other room. But now I want to share my 3 photo printers because I run a home photography business but going through the "network setup wizard" is not working. I thought I did everything right but I tried printing a page using my laptop and it's just not working. I thought I was pretty computer literate but maybe I'm not :-(. Need help!! P.S. The laptop says the printer is online and it's turned on...I've made sure of that stuff. The desktop prints wonderfully because all the cables are attached to it.

Make sure the Windows XP built-in firewall is disabled on all computers. The XP firewall will block all file and printer sharing. Make sure that each printer is designated as a shared printer and that File and Printer Sharing is enabled on the computer(s) that is (are) connected to the printer(s).
