Need Help With Wireless Network

Question

I have a Dell Inspiron 8200 notebook. I have bought a Linksys wireless card. And when I am in the cafeteria at my job I am aloud to connect to the Public network and surf the web. However, I can't seem to get my Outlook Express to connect and download my mail. However, I can surf the inter on the same connect. What am I not doing right?

have  you tried configuring your outlook express? you need to configure your outlook by  entering the outgoing and incoming mail server(POP3/SMTP) so you would be able to download your email to your outlook.
