Need Help with wireless printer adapter 3300

Question

I am trying to connect my all in one 924 printer to a wireless printer adapter 3300. it seems like the installation is good when it asks me to name my computer as i want it to appear. then when i click ok a message comes up saying unable to set name or pin number at this time, try again later. I have already installed the adapter to the computer and then to the printer. i was working on installing the printer software under networking like the instructions say. It is the last step i think. I hope you can tell me what is going on.

are you setting a PIN when you are on that window? because there shouldn't be any passwords entered when you connect the 3300. or please check the name you are entering, sometimes it may also be a problem with the length of the word, make sure it is only a 8-10 character word.

It is a screen that just comes up on its own right after i am finalizing the setup of the printer software. There is a pre-written name in the box and ive tried just hitting enter using that name, ive also tried to change it to something else, then something with numbers, something short......ive pretty much tried everything.

I had the same trouble. I installed the DELL3300 in the same room than the router, it worked. When  I tried the same thing in a different floor (at home), it showned the same message as you. Apparently, the signal was low and the problem seems to be there. Does the 3300 is close to the router?

Jessc172 - I'm sorry I can't help you - but maybe you can help me. I'm trying to configure my wireless adaptor 3300 to the Inspiron 2200, but cannot get the adaptor to join the network. It looks like you have gotten that far, and a step farther. Can you tell me what you did not get the 3300 to configure properly? Thanks.
