Need Help With WirelessPro Instal
I am installing the Intel/pro wireless driver for my Inspiron 9400, and as I do, it takes quite a while for it to start, beyond the "initializing startup" phase, and then it reaches the section where it begins to install the devices, but it just stops while its installing the LAN part of the setup, and begins to uninstall backwards instead of installing the rest.
What am I doing wrong here? The wifi is on, all my other drivers are in... its driving me crazy :(

I’m guessing that the driver that’s giving you problems during the install process is one you’ve downloaded from Dell? ("This one"?)
Try the latest 3945 driver update from Intel’s website (same version as Dell’s: Ver: 10.1.0.3 - Date: 1/19/2006 - Size: 81568KB - "click here") and see if it makes any difference.
Also, make sure your Anti-Virus program is disabled before you start the installation process.
