Need Info on Wireless Update for DSL

I want to get Verizon DSL internet access for my Inspiron 8600 Laptop, but I'm not sure if I have to update with a different Wireless mini-PCI card or if I can use the one I have now. I have dial up right now and I want update. What I have currently is: Dell Wireless 1350 WLAN (802.11 b/g) mini-PCI for Inspiron 8600. Please someone get back to me about this.
