Need WinDVD to load

I have purchased a Lattuide C600 laptop. I'm upgrading it to Windows XP Pro. Where can I get a copy of WinDVD to load on it?

Thanks

charliedemler,

Thank you for using Dell's Community Forum.

You should be able to get that software from a computer store.

Yes I understand I can but it. I thought since it came with the laptop from Dell I should be able to get it somewhere for free? I just bought the Laptop off e-bay and didn't get any CD's with it.

Thanks

Charlie

You are much better off getting cineplayer add-on for Windows Media Player.  Its 15 bucks.  allows you to watch DVD's in Windows Media Player.  WinDVD is terrible.  Its not worth even a free download.  And the cineplayer has better features than WinDVD, and you don't have to install a full blow app to get DVD capability..
