To help troubleshoot this problem, go to Start > Run and type cmd then click OK. In the command prompt window that opens, type ipconfig /all then hit the enter key. Write down the output from this command or select it and save it to a txt file, then copy this output into a reply to this message.

i got that same error repeatedly with an SMC card and a dlink router -- I finally just replaced it. All settings were right for me and I did everything I could to troubleshoot it. Sometimes it worked -- most of the time it didn't.
what card and router are ya using?

Try first downloading the latest drivers for the wireless network adapter from the Intel web site. Once you have the drivers downloaded, go into Device Manager and uninstall the wireless card, reboot, then install the drivers you downloaded.
