Net work and Internet
Can some one please give me some info on this situation.? Here is the problem,for a while my internet service was going well and all of sudden it doesnt work very well any more.. I am using wireless connection..The problem i am having is,the internet works but i cant surf the web or open any kind of email etc..so even though i am connected i am not able to do any of these,and if i do,it stays for like few minutes then it disconnect me from either msn or yahoo or if i was at some site..So if any one have any idea or help i would appreciate it very kindly

Which model computer? Which version of Windows? Which model wireless network card? Do you have any 2.4 Ghz cordless phones in the vicinity? Is this a new problem or has it always been this way? Which model wireless router?

Steve,thanks for responding...Ok here is the situation,it was working okay for almost a week or so..actually this is a new labtop,and by the way i have no knowledge about Dell product..
The window is xp..and i think the model is Inspiron E1505 and i suppose the wireless card is Interpro 3945 mini card..Am not sure if this the correct info about the card...Yes and i do have a cordless telephone which is definately 2.4ghz..

Try changing the channel that your router uses to one of the extreme channels (1 or 11). This should minimize the possible interference with the 2.4 Ghz phones.
