Network adapter cannot start (code 10)
system: Dell Inspiron 600m
network card: Broadcom 440x 10/100 Integrated Controller
problem: this network adapter cannot start. there is a yellow circle on this device in the Device Manager. The properties show "this device cannot start (code 10)". In the network connections, I cannot see "Local area connection", only my wireless connection is working. I download the correct driver and reinstall it, but it seems not working. The controller can be recognized by windows and it can be installed with the driver, but the problem is always there.
who can help me out?
Thanks!

I am having a similar problem. I have (had?) a wireless network using a D-Link router and 2 desktop adapters (WDA-1320). One of the adapters was installed on a desktop running Windows XP, SP 2, and it worked fine until I removed it and reinstalled it on a Dell Dimension 8200 also running Windows XP, SP2. Device Manager eventually found it but with the ominous yellow ballon and exclamation mark, complete with Code 10 error message. Have tried uninstall, reinstall, etc. D-Link support threw up its hands and referred me to Dell. System simply can't find the wireless network. Any suggestions?
