Network card crash...
Someone please help...
After doing an Adaware scan and (I guess??) deleting some important stuff, I couldn't connect back to the internet. My ISP sent out a service tech and he said that I needed to reformat my hard drive and reinstall EVERYTHING. There was nothing else to do but reinstall everything. Is there something Dell has to fix this problem or is there another ad scan I can use to prevent this from happening again???

Which program did you use to remove spyware?
See the downloading and running lspfix from the following site resolves the problem:

Did you try lspfix? The statement "only people with Dell computers had this happen to them" is a bunch of hogwash - there is nothing different about Dell computers that would cause problems like this. Have you tried reinstalling the drivers for your network adapter? Come on- give us some information so we can help you.

Run lspfix. It can't hurt your computer, but it may fix it. Do this before you report back.
