network connections disconnected

A really BIG problem: both my Broadband MSN and MSN Explorer are disconnected.  I am getting a "error #678" - connecting to MSN error.  Broadband MSN also says firewalled.  Does anyone know how to get reconnected?  Or am I on the right board?  thanks, Shirley

Error 678 is when you do not get an answer on a dial up modem. Are you sure you have your settings correct?  Under internet options be sure you have Never dial a connection selected, click apply then try to connect
