Network Controller problem
Hey all .. I have got some really serious problems with my network controller due to which im not able connect wirelessly. Ok the thing is that when i go to device manager, i can see network controller yellowed out (meaning some kind of problem). I have tried everything but in the end al in vain .. I tried uninstalling it. Earlier it worked fine but now it gives me error network controller no driver found. I tried installing driver but it says could not find the driver. im getting an icon of a tv sort with red cross on it. Cant see those five wifi bars. Troubleahooting not working either. Intel says all drivers up to date. I have even done a system restore from backup cd i created long time back. Any suggestions ??

Hi,
Welcome to dell community.
Please follow the steps mentioned below
1) Check if the wireless radio on the system is turned on. to turn on Wireless radio you need to hold down Fn key and while holding down Fn press f2 key on keyboard.
2)If the above step doesnt work Open Network Diagnostics by right clicking the network icon in the notification area, and then clicking Diagnose and repair.
3) Also download and install the latest wireless card drivers from dell website. find the link below to download the drivers for studio 1555

4)If the issue is still not resolved run the Dell diagnostics on network card and revert back with the results. you may use follow the link below for running diagnostics. select network card diagnostics

kumarish,
Try what DELL-Sumesh_N stated.
My question is did you recently install/reinstall the operating system?
