Network Controller

Question

My NIC Adapter on my Latitude D600 is working fine. I'm running WinXP SP2. I successfully join our company domain, login with my network account and surf the Internet afterwards. But the issue is that it's prompting me that it's 'Found New Hardware'...the 'Network Controller'. But I've already installed the NIC Adapter and the modem drivers. If I ignore & cancel out of the message, I don't experience any problems with my laptop whatsoever. What 'Network Controller' driver is the OS asking for, though? Right click on My Computer -> Manager -> Device Manager -> expand Network Adapters   What is listed in there?  Also, what is in the Device Manager with an ? or ! on it?  Get back to us.
