Network Folder Empty after Reinstalling Windows XP - Dimension 8250

Hello,

I hope the forum members here can help.  I have just reinstalled windows XP (SP1) in my Dimension 8250.  After the installation was complete, the network folder was empty.  I looked in Device Manager and there is no reference to Network or Network Adapters.  I also tried to load drivers from the Utilility CD that came with the PC and still the network folder is empty.   I'm not even sure this CD contains the correct drivers to reinstate the network.   Please, can someone offer advice on what I need to do to get my network to show up and working.   Thanks.

Steve,

Thanks so much for your response.  I followed the steps and it worked perfectly.  Network is back.  :-)
