Network Key

Question

My wireless worked fine at home un til I went away and used wireless at a hotel.  When I returned, my home network shows a lock.  I am asked for a wireless key.  I don't remember ever needing a wireless key before.  What is it and how do I fill in the blamks?

Depending on your router you can access it with opening your browser and typing 192.168.1.1

I didn't remember my network key, so I did the aasci code (a new one). Then I lost my network connection. When I click repair, it doesn't recognize the IP addy. How do I fix this and obtain my original network key? Thanks!

If this is a key to your router you will need to reset the router according to the router manufacturer instructions. If it is a network key to access your network you may have to reinstall windows if you cannot remember it.
