network problem

Hi all
I can't search or check  and reply e mail as well. I don't know what to do?
I called to Dell on call and chat with dell represantative but I don't understand.
And Will I  pay for soft ware warrantty again? coz I just bought my laptop inspiron B130 last mo.
So sad.
Some one help me plaease.

What is the model (number) of your month-old computer?
Do you connect through cable ISP (broadband)?
Do you have a router (which)?
Are you using Ethernet cable to connect? to cable modem?
DSL modem? Router?
Wireless access point?

Thanks for asking.

I using Netgear and I don't know about DSl,ISP means but I know I use wireless card in this computerto connecting with this net work.

Okay, let hook up wired and see if it's the connection to the ISP (Internet Service Provider).  If you can connect wired then you have a configuration error on the wireless side.  You will need a CAT5 cable to connect to the router.
