Network Question for Inspiron 6000

Question

I have a Inspiron 6000 and i have not set up wireless internet to AOL yet. But i have taken my laptop to my friends house and have picked up their network so i can access internet.    I was wondering, if i brought a AOL router, would i need a network adapter to put into my laptop?   This is my LAN card ----Intel ProWireless 2200 802.11b/g Mini PCI Wireless LAN Card   Please help

Any router be it wired or wireless will do!

And no you will not need to get a network adapter card if you are using a wired router as you can simply plug the ethernet cable from the router into the laptop's onboard LAN socket.

Thanks, so if i brought a AOL wireless router i would not need a network adapter because my laptop can pick it up?
