Network Question

Question

I have 2 Dell computers and 1 external hard drive to store music and personal files.  Currently I have to share the external drive on one computer in order to view the files on the other.  Does anyone know how to fix this where both computers can access the external drive without having to share the drive on one computer?  I dont want to turn on the other computer just to view the external drive.  There must be a different way.   Thanks for the help

yeah thats what I was thinking abt.. I have a wireless router that already has 3 computers and a printer plugged into it so all the slots are full.. So now im out of slots... What do you recommend then?

Why just unplug one of the computer and put it on the wireless adapter?

yeah im gonna have to do that... I have had BAD luck with USB wireless cards... I was trying to stay away from that...  I will prob try a pci wireless card
