Networking My Dimension 4300 System

I recently purchased a new HP laptop with integrated wireless card and everything. My desktop (dell dimension 4300, does not have a wireless card, or at least i dont think so), and from what I can tell I dont see an ethernet port on the back of the computer. Can anyone give me some advice on what to do without having to install a network adaptor to my desktop because I am good enough with computers but when it comes to installing components on the inside of the computer I am lost. I would prefer if my desktop were wired directly to the router because my family uses it the most and i would use the wireless connection of my laptop, assuming i purchase a wireless router. Any suggestions for what kind of router to purchase and how to network my computer with no ethernet ports that i can find nor a wireless card that I am aware of. Thank you.

If you have a wireless card on your Dimension, you would see an small antenna sticking out from it. Unless you purchased your Dimension with a wireless card---you "ain't got one".

An ethernet port "looks like" a large telephone line connection.

It's very simple to install a network card.
