new to wireless-please help!

I ordered an Inspiron e1705, with the dell 1500 draft N card.  After reading here, I have changed my mind.  How do I go about changing the card to a regular 802.11g internal?  Is there a certain card that is compatible, or will any internal wireless card work?  I was thinking of just bringing it to Best Buy and having them install a new card for me.  Any suggestions?  What should I do with the 1500 card--chuck it??  BTW, I am expecting the computer to arrive tomorrow, so it is too late to have dell reconfigure it.  Thanks!
