No internet as well!

I recently had a virus problem, and after quarantined,  i was unable to access my internet. I have Win XP Home, a dell inspiron 5150, w/ a belkin g wireless notebook adapter.  I checked my device manager, and it says the ethernet controller is not installed, but my belkin wireless utility works fine, just will not pick up the internet when trying to connect. I have full signal to a linksys router that is public access. Which driver(s) will I need to reinstall to connect to the internet.

Sorry about that Steve, I'm actually new to this forum... thnkx for the heads up. I updated this info as best I could, does it  help at all? There was not a problem w/ my belkin adapter in d/m, nor for my 1394 connection as well... only the ethernet controller has a yellow tag saying drivers not installed.

Read the text in RED at the top of this forum, then reply with the information that is necessary for us to help you (i.e. System Model and version of Windows).

You are aware, I hope, that the ethernet controller has nothing to do with wireless.  Are you trying to connect by ethernet (wired) or wireless?   To correct the problem with the ethernet controller, you need to install the drivers for the ethernet network adapter.  The drivers can be found at:
