No internet
I have just cleaned my hard drive on my Inspiron N5050 and reinstalled Windows 7, but cannot connect to the internet as "No connectionc are available". I've tried to install the network drivers but get an arror message as no modem can be found. I have run the diagnostic and windows cannot detect "a properly ibstalled network adapter".
Does anyone know which driver I shoulkd be installing or which network adapter I should have?

Hi Chris Jennings,
Did you install the chipset drivers before attempting to install the network drivers?
Please refer the following link for instructions to install all the drivers in a correct order after reinstalling the operating system: http://dell.to/Ynnsnr
Do let me know the results.

Hi Kalyan
Thanks so much for your reply. Unfortunately I am not computer savvy enough to understand this. I've got the list of downloads and I've got the page showing the order in which they should be installed, but cannot relate one to the other.eg the first on the list is Dell System Softward, but nowhere on this list does it say Dell System Software, so how do I know which one is which?
As I said - I'm not computer savvy. I can use a computer, but I have absolutely no idea how it works!

Hi Chris,
Some of the drivers listed in the article are not applicable to Inspiron N5050. Skip the ones that are not available in the “Drivers & Downloads” page for Inspiron N5050. To install the drivers:
Do let me know how it goes.
