No network adapters

I just did a complete reinstall of Windows XP Media center edition....now, I am unable to connect to the internet.  When I got to task manager --> networking, I see the message "No active network adapters found".

How can I troubleshoot this?  Do I need to download something and install it?

Thx

and after installing the chipset drivers, did you install the network drivers, video drivers, audio drivers, modem drivers, etc?  Just make sure the chipset drivers are installed before attempting to install any other device drivers.
