I have exactly the same problem - hard disk crash lead to re-install of Windows XP. No Wireless network connections & no Dell utilities such as WLAN connectivity application. Is ther any way I can get the original utilities on CD to re-install?
did you install the driver?
the wireless utility will be installed when you install the driver.
you just have to download the drivers from this site using another computer.
dell no longer sends drivers cds for OEL (end of life) systems.
the reason - one tech said that the drivers cds contains drivers for newer systems only.
I've already tried this. Sadly (but alas not surprisingly) this link can only really be used by US residents, whether by accident or design I know not. Mandatory elements on the web page (tel / ZIP / State) don't work for the rest of the world.
I'd be very grateful for other suggestions - I've been every which way around the eurodell site without finding a similar page.
Finally got through to Tech Support after 1hr 10mins on the phone & providing service tags, customer number & order number 3 times) & "david" has given me a list of drivers to download & install. (I'm on the last one but it's a 2.5 hr download.)

If needed, you can make a request for backup discs via the following link:

If that fails, shoot me a PM with the following information and I will find you a contact.
