No Wireless Connection!!!!!!

Question

I bought a D-Link 802.11g/2.4GHz Wireless Router today but i cant see any connection on my Inspiron 8600 Notebook i followed instructions in the Router and Notebook manual to setup the Wireless connection but NO Wireless Connection at all although there is less then 15 cmbetween the Router and the Notebook   how can i know if the prolem is from the Notebook or from the Router? Please Help

Does your wireless network adapter show up in Device Manager?  Is the wireless network card turned on (use the Fn F2 key combination to toggle the card on or off)?  Does the wireless network connection show up in Network Connections?   Steve

It sounds like the Fn+F2 trick has worked again!

Actually yes its Fn + F2 i was working from 10:00 pm to 2:30 am till i got this solution thank you very much
