I'm with you Boris, that was me about an hour ago! :smileysad:

You have the opposite problem from me, I can access the internet from the laptop but not the network.

Hope you get your answer soon.

Boris,

To help troubleshoot this problem, go to Start > Run and type cmd then click OK. In the command prompt window that opens, type ipconfig /all then hit the enter key. Write down the output from this command or select it and save it to a txt file, then copy this output into a reply to this message.

It appears on the belkin router management tool, another firewall was on besides the 2 pc firewalls.  Once I turned this off it worked!

when i tried  to go into the command prompt and did ipconfig/all. Against ip routing enabled - No

I had to go to the website that manages the router.  For belkin this was http://192.168.2.1/  This showed the internet as 'connected'.  On the management tool on the left hand side there was a firewall section.  I had to turn this off and heh presto!

The above address should change depending on the router.  Does this work?
