Onboard NIC
Hello,
I have about 50 Inspiron 1545's and when I boot up one of them and go to the Boot Options to try and get to Onboard NIC it is not shown. I have tested the O.N and it works but just does not show up in the boot options. is there something I need to do?

punktilend,
Places to look to see if the Connection is enabled
If you can run the Finding System Information Tool and post the information back here, maybe it will give a clue to the problem.

punktilend,
Let's first try...
Go to device manager(right click my computer, left click properties, left click hardware, left click device manager)
Click on network, Dell Wireless 1397 WLAN Mini-Card, Advanced. Look for antenna diversity. Change it from Auto to aux.
Start, control panel, network connections.
right click on your wireless connection, left click properties. Look for Internet Protocol(TCP/IP), then click on it, click on properties
Have your settings match mine.
Also try running WinSock XP Fix
