OpenManage Network Manager

Hi,

I struggled w/o much succes to monitor my PowerConnect 6224 switchs through SNMP in OpenManage essentials.

I'm "essentially" getting meaningless traps about "port 72" or whatever whereas I Have a stack of 48 ports only.

Anyway

I have been invited  to use OpenManage Network Manager instead. OK.

I've installed it I just can't "quick discover them". Authentication fails.(I currently use admin account an no "enable" password. But I've tried various combination of admin and non-admin account with or without "enable" password.

So please someone give a valid procedure and accounts requirement to integrate a PowerConnect switch into OpenManage Network manager.

I'm experiencing also an annoyance that a "quick discovery" profile can't be edited. I have to delete it and recreate it to be able to change credentials. And I can't reuse a past (and deleted) discovery profile name.

All in all I'm very very frustated with OpenManage products line.
