OPTIPLEX 170L linux driver
Hi,
I have problems with my dell computer
I need install Fedora Core 3 on my PC but I can't install my modem
I need driver for linux please
Note: My PC is optiplex 170l but I not know the modem chipset

If you're not sure, post the service tag and we (the community) can maybe see if there is an answer.
Your modem is probably a software modem, which may complicate things as a generic driver usually won't work.

The Modem is a Rockwell Conexant Chipset.
You should Try Linspire Live Free Trial and then use that Linux to see what the hardware is.
Live Linux is Linux that doesnt need a hard drive. It boots and installs into ramdrive.
