OptiPlex GX280 ArcGIS Server Problems

I have been working with ESRI support to try and fix this problem but they cannot isolate the issue.  The problem I am having is when after I open ArcCatalog and try to preview data from an external ArcIMS service the application just closes with no error messages.  We never had this problem before on our Gateway systems.  When I got this new machine and tried loading ArcView it would error out.  I had to disable DEP to get it to install.  After that it installed fine.  We just cannot preview or add data from a ArcIMS map service.  In the event viewer the error is in the imsconnector.dll.  They also just released SP3 for ArcView and that did not fix the problem either.  Any help with this is very much appreciated.  Thanks

I got it to finally work.  We had to install to the C drive as we partition our drives and all programs go on the F drive.  Still makes no sense why this happens.  It's only on the Dell systems that we have to do this.
