Page cannot be displayed

Question

Since yesterday I have been experiencing a 'page cannot be displayed' message on certain web pages such as google, hotmail and certain radio stations. Many of my bookmarks work fine and my connection is OK.   I have a cable modem and the provider is Comcast. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what the problem is? Thanks!

ping the website that gives the error message..if it is not able to ping then cont the ISP.
