Partition Problems

Question

I was having problems with my Dimension E521 and so decided to reinstall windows. Upon doing so I found there were already partitions on my hard drive, I deleted them to add to my unpartitioned space.   After doing this I have found I am suddenely unable to connect to the house's wireless network with that computer. Can anyone explain why this might be?

If, you reinstalled the OS on your HD then you deleted the wireless, or ethernet drivers off your HD. I have reinstalled the drivers for my ethernet and wireless adapter amongst other things. But when I try to connect to the network I receive a message saying 'limited or no connectivity'.   I did some further troubleshooting and found that apparantly, the wireless network is not giving my computer a network address when I attempt to connect.   Any help please?

Try power cycling your network... Shut everything down.(cable/DSL modem, router, computers) Wait 5 mins. then power on the cable modem, wait 2 mins. then power on router, wait another 2 mins. then power on computers.   See if you have connectivity then?
