You will need an ExpressCard modem (also known as a WAN card). contact Cingular and you will need to purchase a new modem, unfortunately. If you like, you can chuck your old card and purchase a caddy for your Latitude so you can use the new card in the PC Card slot. Or just leave the old card in the Latitude. Whatever you choose
Both answers were very timely and on-point. I guess I got caught in the transition between my Latitude, purchased in March 2007 and the Inspiron purchased in July 2007. Stuff happens...
The 1520 does not have the older technology PC-Card slot and will not accept PC Cards. It has the new technology Express Card slot, so you would need a different card for 1520 - specifically an Express Card. Cingular (now AT&T) should have the new Express Card adapters, or you can get them from Dell -
