Pci Simple Communications Controller
I have a Dell Optiplex GX1 PIII, that has been upgraded to Windows XP professional, and there is a missing driver for the Pci Simple Communications Controller. Is there one available. If not is there one for Windows 2k pro.

What is the model name/number for your modem? With more information it would be more likely someone can provide specific driver information. If you are unsure of your modem model, add your service tag number to your Forum account profile and I may be able to find a driver for you.

That service tag number shows as an OptiPlex GX1 system; there was no modem listed as being installed in that system so I am not sure what you have installed. If Windows XP installs a generic modem driver, try that and see if it works.
