Note that wireless internet works with your existing internet connection.  In other words if you don't have a broadband internet connection, your wireless internet connection will have to connect through some device that connects to your existing internet service.  This can either be a computer that has a wireless network card or a router that either has a built in telephone modem in it or a router that connects to a broadband modem.  If you are wanting to connect to hotspots where wireless internet service is available, you will have to go a place that is in range of those hotspots (usually less than 200 feet).

There are services that provide wireless internet connections through cell phone networks, but these are expensive ($80 per month) and coverage is very spotty at the present time.

Please try to better explain exactly what it is you are trying to do and we may be able to advise you on the best approach.

Did you order the computer with a wireless network adapter?  Does the wireless network adapter show up in Device Manager when you expand the listings by clicking on the + sign next to network adapters?  If you open Network Connections, do any network connections show up there?  If so, which ones are listed?

Again, you need to explain better exactly what it is you are trying to do?
