Port Question

Hello, I have a question involving Port Forwarding on my Dell Router. I'm trying to open a port to allow UTorrents to work correctly. Incoming Ports: What should I set it from. It gives me a range. Where would I find the Destination IP Address and Destination MAC Address Finally, Where would I find the Destination Ports? Message Edited by Aiur on 06-15-2007 06:34 PM

I do not have one fo those router but bascially the process is you must assign a static IP Address in order to Port Forward and the site you are downloading from would have the port information you need.  For example say you machines has the static address of 192.168.1.100 and this torrent traffic uses port 666 to communicate, you would then forward a range of 666 to 666 on either TCP or UDP, mostly TCP to Ip Address 192.168.1.100.   There is one site I have bookmarked on my home machine that has about 100 routers listed with the screen shots of all the steps.
