PowerConnect Firmware Upgrade Failed
I did a firmware upgrade to a PowerConnect 5012. From version 5.1.4 to 6.1.2. Now whe it boots it end with this error:
System Interface Attachments:
Device tty0 has been attached.
Device de0 has been attached.
Device nd0 has been attached.
Assertion "vlanId <= AM_VLAN_MAXID" in file vlan.c at line 305 failed.
Crashing the system...

I cannot access the switch.
What can i do?

I've also ran into problems trying to upgrade to the latest firmware. My error message is a bit different however...
I remember I fixed this problem earlier by aborting the usual boot sequence and enter some kind of boot menu where I could tell the switch to download a new firmware on next boot (or something like that). However, I don't remember how to enter that menu...
If someone knows how I'd be ever grateful if he/she could post it here!
I'll continue googleing and keep you updated.

The point in all this was to install an older firmware to get the switch up and running again.
